Eric Carter
Attorney
Eric provides representation to businesses and individuals for a wide range of civil litigation and transactional matters. Before joining Hanson Law Group, Eric primarily practiced personal injury law, gaining experience at both plaintiff and defense focused firms located in downtown Chicago. At Hanson Law, Eric’s practice has grown to include business, employment, and estate litigation. Eric has experience in all phases of litigation and is not afraid to argue in a courtroom or take cases to trial in order to obtain the best results for his clients.
Eric received his J.D. in 2018 from Chicago-Kent College of Law, where he earned Dean’s List honors. During law school, Eric clerked for the Honorable Justice Robert E. Gordon at the First District Appellate Court of Illinois. After becoming licensed, Eric gained more appellate court experience by way of authoring legal briefs for three different Illinois state appellate matters.
